I am wondering if there are any programs out there that might let me link a command such as clicking a trigger button on the step sequencer, and the link that command to trigger via MIDI controller or even keyboard. I want to set up a box style for live performance such as a 909 or Korg electribes. I think this would be a powerful tool for me. With newer midi controllers coming out, you could really set up about 3 different boxes. I know with video games that don't have joypad support, you can use joykey to take keyboard codes and send them to a controller. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Oh..I do own Live7. Just not thrilled with the time it takes me to set up some things. Also, my core use for production is FL so it gets tedious breaking parts down into wavs just so I can remix them during a live show.
