nice setup man mv8800 and a mpc that's the piece i'm also missing in my setup there is still a bunch i want to implement later on. Now here's what i got to say about the all you need is a PC. I used a pc for several years growing up simply because i didn't have alot of money and that's how i got my creativity out and my parents weren't big on the music idea they always said it's just a dream basically. I always thought it KEEPS ME OUT OF TROUBLE, but anyways i grew and learned one thing i can say is the "IN THE BOX" method works, but hardware does sound entirely better and it's easier for me to mix in my oppinion it makes the job easier but what i've learned through my years of "training" is that it don't matter how you do it as long as you can get it done use what you will to do it i however will not look back and say man i miss just working with a computer my Hardware is Great and i highly recommend people that want to be serious about it learn about hardware cuz if you ever go to the studio majority of them might not have the same shit you got and if you learn to work with a little bit of everything you'll be ok no where you go. example if you leanr a mpc or mv8800/8000 you'll get the basic concept and be able to use one or the other you learn to play the piano you can play any keyboard you want. you learn one DAW you can quickly figure out the others. This is just my oppinion and how it works for me so all i'm saying is knowledge is power in the end if you really want to do anything learn everything you can about it.
