Parallels/VMWare Fusion HELP/ADVICE

Running Fruity in VMWare Fusion (and trying in Parallels too).
Anyone doing this without latency?
Getting latency/problems.

Just looking for anyone
using fruity in a virtual machine who
has possibly solved these issues.
(it's probably better to just go out and buy
and crappy little windows laptop?)
