i made a setting for my outboard rack for vocal record & i am happy with it.
& here i want to ask if there is any suggestions,
basics needed .
my setup is serial:
from the mic (shure ksm 32) placed at vocal boothroom (hand made) around 2.5x2.5 meters.
to 192 kHz preamp mixer (behringer eurorack PRO RX1202FX) for adjusting gain & lettel change at low & high EQ.
to noise reduction (rocktron hush pro) for removing unwanted background hissing.
to 31band graphic equalizer (behringer ultragraph pro FBQ6200) for low & high cut , the graph is the target of my topic, its flat now.
to compressor & gate (mackie quad gate compressor) the compressor is only to avoide clipping & its not real compress.
to sound card (mackie onyx 400 f) the recording at tracktion 3 at 44100 Hz, 16 bit depth, i dont want to go for more (big size>more cpu more ram)
note: all cables are nutric.
so what is your suggestions & opinions ?
thanks
