Sound in FL Studio OR windows but not both....

Maybe someone can shed some light.

I open FLS

Load up anything, sound in FL studio works fine.

Leave that open, open Youtube or something and in YouTube.. zero sound, but sound in FLS still.

In FLS say... create NEW project..

Now, youtube has sound but nothing out of FLS.

Restart FLS, now sound is back in FLS but not in any other windows program.

Any lights?
