Lingering ear ache

Anyone else experienced an odd ear ache, that only comes when listening to music/audio, starts suddenly and lasts a few months?

May be related to the two root canal tooth treatments I had 3 months ago, as it started about then. I cleared my ears of wax, and the doc said they looked as if I had just got over an infection, but they still start to ache when listening to audio at normal levels. Tho it takes longer than at first. Feels like the glands around my ears and jaw get kind of swollen, then I get a headache.

Searching the net came up with the usual constant ear aches, relted to infections or teeth, or the metal band 'Earache' :)

Thankfully seems to be slowly going away tho, and ive cut down on volume and time spent with headphones alot. Any help much apreciated.
