Any benefits on buying the i7 over the i5?

Im planning my next upgrade, and it seems the clock speed is there for both processors. The only thing I will be running on that machine is FL Studio 9 and plug ins. Lots of Vanguards/ Nexus / Hypersonics / a few antares autotunes and LOT (20+) FL Studio VSTs (Fruity Reverb, EQ, COMP, DELAYS, ETC. Nothing else. Any advantage on shelling the extra cash on the i7?

Thanks in advance guys.
