hard drive keeps losing space

Everytime I turn off my computer then turn it back on, my hard drive has less space on it. It's losing space at a rate of about 4-5 percent each day. I have no idea what is causing this? I mainly use my computer for surfing the web and FL Studio. I don't do much on here. Anyone know what could be wrong? I'm just afraid its going to crash or something and i'll lose all of my FL Studio work.
