Best Bit-Rate for Streaming Mp3 files on internet?

Hello all -

I have read numerous articles/arguments on the net, and checked the FL Studio manual.

I'm wondering what bit rate I should render my mp3 files with voice tag for streaming on the internet?

I think it should be 128, 160, or 192. I don't want the 192 to stream or pause the song. The song needs stream smoothly or that customer might just walk out the door. In this day and age that means clicking the X and leaving my website.

I guess it's hard to say because the bit rate that is able to stream is dependent on the users dial up or broadband speed.

The Default in FL Studio is 160. I think I may keep it there. Just wanted to check any thoughts here.

Thank u,
Shaun
