MIDI Input issue with Akai LPK25, FL Studio 9

So I'm having issues getting my Akai LPK25 to be recognized under the FL Studio 9 MIDI Input list, which appears blank. I plug in the LPK25 to a USB port on my laptop (running XP), the device is recognized, however then when I open FL Studio 9 the input list is blank. There are also no drivers/firmware available for this product, so I don't think that can be the issue, and my PC's USB drivers are all up to date. Any suggestions?

Check your Windows Device-Manager if it appears...

I checked the device manager, and indeed found ...

"USB Audio Device" indicates a Sound Card afaik...

I tested the MIDI out on a different laptop usi...

i have the exact same issue with my akai mpk 49...

USB Audio device is the LPK25. Have you tried...
