control vibration with mp3 ringtone

hi there,

a colleague of mine aked me if i could make her an ringtone for her mobile. using an mp3 file for that is easy, but is there a way to control the vibration within the mp3 file?
i personally dont own a modern mobile but as far as i know its possible with some other format than mp3.

any ideas?
