You know, now that you mention NI, that got me thinking about Kore. It would be pretty awesome if IL/Maxx at some point created a similar "super plugin" that basically mimicked Kore's preset browser and funtionality--all the engines in one plugin with all the presets in one place within the GUI.spectroman wrote:No it isn't. Not everyone wants every single category and preset to unfold in one menu. I really do prefer NI's method (minus the ridiculous attributes page) where you select one category to browse from at a time.Sipher wrote:the way gol's plugins handle the patches and such is the way to go, oh and i realy hate the downloaderpatcheistein thing. This topic reminds me of how much i hate it every time i check looptalk, and a bump so others can hate as well.
On a side note, I do like gol's idea of browsing everything from the browser, but I just can't quite get myself to break the habit of using the plugin's GUI for now. I think it may have to do with the fact that I tend to group a lot of sounds by their manufacturer, and it just helps me mentally sort what is what. That's probably a lousy and somewhat restrictive way to do it, but well, it is what it is. I think a lot of people think that way.
Anyway, continue on folks
