Synth Jazz Guitar - sound good enough to solo?

This is a synth preset playing 20 seconds of a jazz midi that I think sounds pretty good by itself. It's followed by 20 seconds of the same synth with a custom Hardcore preset. I am not a guitarist, and I'm using computer speakers to listen on. Yes, I had monitors, but they died due to a really stupid accident, and I haven't been able to afford another pair yet. At any rate, does this sound good enough/real enough to use in a jazz song solo or is it just too artificial sounding?
