Acidized ? Could I be clarified about this technique ?

Hello

I have been browsing the forum for a while but I've also been looking up the word "acidized" in Google. I still am looking for additional info, actually I have 2 questions :

1. I understood that acidezed loops allow more interesting treatments of a .wav file but is FL studio compatible with importing acidized loops ? I think that originally "Acid" could do that ... ; I only have found info in this forum about exporting acidized tracks in FL Studio but not importing acidized tracks = what I plan to do !

2. In case number 1 question works, then next : Acidized loops Vs Wav files to import from CD. What would you do ? Is is always an advantage to use acidized loops ?

I apologize if my questions may sound too novice about the "acid loops concept" but I really wonder what your answer will be !

Thanks in advance for your kind help and warm regards from Belgium :o)
