Fun website...acoustic recordings with various mics...for those of you mixing electro/dance/pop, pay attention to how little high frequency energy there is in an acoustic mix (mute the vocal) and how smooth it all sounds. Click 'add a track' to try out other mics.
The #2 mixing mistake these days seems to be too much high, mid-high end energy making mixes sound brittle/harsh/fatiguing. #1 being over-compression.
Also fun to compare dynamic M1 to the condenser mics on the vocal.
