How to do a piano roll fade out?

Is there a way to draw a fade out in the piano roll? This would be a great feature. I know that I can use the volume editing to fade out successive notes, but what about fading out a sustained note? Being able to draw a fade out would allow me to do this. For certain reasons, using the ADSR is not sufficient for what I'm trying to do.

I edited a photo just to make the obvious more clear.
