Stretching slices in Slicex

Hi

I have trouble on an issue when I stretch samples in Slicex. I get gaps when I stretch the slices to fit in a slower track. It's like it's extending the slices but not the slice sample. Is there anyway to stretch the samples over their length so as to not get any gaps within piano roll or does this have to be done in slicex itself?
The way I normally stretch to fit my song is I select all the samples in the piano roll then click the round circle to the right of the selection, and pull to the right until its as close to fitting as possible. This is if I do not know the tempo of the acapella or vox section. But as I said it causes gaps in the playback. I also get this problem when fitting drumloops to tempo sometimes.
