Playlist in FL10

This has probably been discussed before. I have tried to use FL10 and God knows I've tried, but...

I have been using FL since V4. The block pattern set up on the playlist worked perfectly well. Why, oh why, mess around with it now. Its clunky, its takes twice as long to do anything. Having to go back into the pattern selector every time you want to insert a pattern instead of just being able to assign it to a pattern in the playlist is a pain in the arse.

The whole thing is clunky, and its taking me twice as long to create a track, is more complicated and is incredibly user unfriendly.

A lot of users voiced their concerns when this idea was mooted by the developers before FL10 came out, so why not give us the option to use the old playlist or the new one ?

What annoys me is that I paid for updates, so I'm stuck with the new layout if I want to keep up with all the other advances.
