Minimizing and maximizing FL Studio in Windows 7

Hi,

I am unable to maximize FL Studio in Windows 7 after minimizing it. I have to go to the Windows task manager and "switch to" FL Studio. Alt TAB or Flip 3d doesn't work. I am missing something for sure. I haven't made this question before because it is so stupid .
