Need Some Help getting around the new beta

When I click on a channel, the browser then automatically opens up the generators folder. That's all fine and dandy for some people (ZOMG IT'S INTERACTIVE), but it's really annoying.
It hinders the workflow, especially if I'm searching for drum sounds and then want to change something in a VST. All of the sudden my folder's gone and I have to go open it up again to keep clicking samples. How do I turn the feature off?
