So I'm building a backing track in FL and now I want to export a version without the Kick and Snare mixer channels...
Kick, Snare and Bass are all on separate channels. I sidechain the Kick to the Bass.
To get a Kick and Snare-less version is simple; I mute those mixer channels and export. Job's good.
But what if I want the Kick and Snare to remain during some parts of the exported tune?
I can't use a Mute on the Kick and automate it because the Bass won't be sidechained to it any more...
What's my best way to set up 'guide' tracks or multiple mix settings for doing things like this? There's lots of cases where I need a version without guitars, without percs, etc.
Best way to mute a mixer channel for most of an export?
