so we're going to be mastering our 6th album in a few weeks and i want to see if anyone can tell me why this idea wouldn't work (i think it will.. but i wanted to check)
if i take all my final mixes of our songs and load them, in sequence, into one FLP, and route each one to it's own mixer channel, i could conceivably master each track on it's own channel using my mastering tools, but still having the ability to reference them against each other easily. then i could save the mastering chains for each track, load them back into their respective FLPs for final mixdown and such.
is there any reason this wouldnt work? i figure i could put all my spectral analyzers on the master chain to see how they all compare visually as well.
