Knockoff Xbox 360 controller combatibility question

Hi all,

So I'm not a gamer in the slightest; I don't own an Xbox 360 and don't plan to, but I really want to utilize the controller for use with Synthmaker.
So to save a buck I picked up the controller below, but I haven't opened it so that I could return it if "knockoff" controllers aren't compatible with FL. I don't see why it wouldn't, but, you know, thought I'd check just to be sure.
