I'm not a musician but a 3d artist. I can understand that 3DS Max needs to be coded at 64 bit but audio apps can benefit in quality running at 64 bits?
Probably the only FL plugin that needs to be compiled (rewritten) at 64 bits is Directwave, but honestly I don't think that the Directwave library uses (fill) more than 4GB.
Ok, lets say we use 10 instances of Kontakt at 64 bits and we play 16GB of samples because we are recording an entire virtual orchestra at 48khz.
Does FL Studio will handle all this huge data? All FL plugins effects will process all these samples?
FL is used for soundtracks? FL Studio is used at Sky Walker Sound?
Many guys here are asking for 64 bit plugins.
