Hey guys,
I have had FL Studio for 5-7 years now. I have worked on some songs and up to now I've sent them only to close people. Now I want to publish my songs.
Here's the problem. It's a wall that I have hit and I cannot figure out what's going on. It didn't bother me before, but now it does. When I listen to other people's stuff, it's always loud enough. My songs sound quiet.
They don't sound quiet when I'm in the FLStudio, but when I render them: quiet and measible.
The problem I have is I don't know what to do to get the results I want to get. The internet says, the songs have to be mastered. My songs are completely done with instruments from FLStudio and my audio-card is internal. Some people make suggestions for an external audio card to be bought. Would that be applicable for my case?
I can upload a song if that would help to identify the issue. It's general quietness and not specific to an instrument in the song.
I apologize if this is not the right forum to ask in advance.
