Recording MIDI form Channel settings arpeggiator?

Hi All,

I'm trying to figure out how to record the MIDI notes which are played when you activate the Arpeggiator in the Channel settings > Function panel. Here's my workflow: I place a note or chord in the Piano Roll, make my settings in the Arp tab and press play then listen to the results. I want to save/record the MIDI notes which the Arp plays. Do I need some kind of loopback tool for this?
