Can someone please help me with this! Been making beats for awhile now but I'm still struggling to create an effective bassline on FL Studio! I'm trying to make a bassline thats got a 9th wonder/pete rock/Dilla/Madlib feel to it. When I try to do basslines on FL Studio, It either comes out distorted, too much feedback or the bass is high in parts of the bar and barely heard in other parts of it! Been wracking my brain on this one for awhile would really like to get on top of it. A step by step instruction on this would be greatly appreciated, and please, can it be a bit more specific than just compress and equalize it.
