Sytrus is broken after almost a year of use?

I am having a problem with my copy of Sytrus. I had bought it to use with the DAW Reaper, as the demo worked fine. So did the full purchased copy of Sytrus. I had purchased it during last year's "End of the World" sale. Recently, though, without warning and without interference by me, it started breaking all of my projects.

Any project that used Sytrus will freeze and crash upon attempting to load the plugin, and any attempt to load the plugin into a blank project results in a blank track being inserted, without Sytrus on it. I tried reinstalling it, but now, upon scanning the .dll file, my host tells me that it "executed an invalid operation during scanning" and so Sytrus doesn't show up in its list of plugins. I've tried re-scanning running Reaper as an administrator. No luck. I even thought of selling it, as it's useless to me if I can't access it, but then I saw that you don't allow license transfers. How can I get this software to work again?
