I've noticed that sometimes I seem get a more accurate conversion of a non-sine operator to sine harmonics by recording it in Edison, cropping out a single cycle, and using Sytrus to analyze the waveform, instead of using the "Convert shape to sine harmonics" command.
Does anyone know why this is? Are there certain situations in which it's reliably better to use one or the other?
