Hello sytrus specialists,
at the moment I'm experimenting with Sytrus myself and I'm very impressed of what it is capable of. But I am not able to lead a sound into a certain direction, it is all just playing around. There are great samples to learn / start from though.
At the moment I'm trying to modify the "violin ensemble" preset to sound like the strings in this example here:
Edit: The time is 2:36 (the youtube embedding messes the timestamps up
But my results are always lacking that certain amount of "texture". Is that particular sound even possible to synthesize it from simple waveforms alone or do I need some synth which can handle longer samples?
It would be great if you could either give it a shot or maybe point out some presets with similar qualities which I could learn from.
Best regards

PS: The youtube comment section implies that the componist might have used a Roland D50 synthesizer.
