First time with Sytrus/Automation curves in FM knobs?

Hi, buddies.
I have a quick doubt, i was wondering how to make an automation from the second operator in FM knobs, when i press the second button, the knobs "dissapears" or gets inactive. I also tried the multilink controller icon, but no luck.
I was wondering if i can make automation curves with those. How?
