Moving Direct Wave to another computer

I tried to ask this via Support but somehow couldn't get in to raise a question.

I bought Direct Wave a few years ago and I now need to move it to a new PC as the old one is unreliable and keeps crashing.

I copied it over from my backup, but on the new PC it just works as a player and won't give me access to the editing parameters. I then copied the .dll file over from the PC on which it was previously working, and again on the new one it's player only.

Presumably it needs to be re-authorised - or whatever the term is - for the new PC. How do I do that?
