Direct Wave and "monolithic format".

Hello, I'm trying to use the string ensemble SF, but DW is unplayable after the project has been saved and reopened. Then I get this-

"Warning: you have imported a monolithic program format without WAV(s) referenced on disk and 'Total Recall' option is disabled.

You'll have to save the program(s) to disk if you later want to restore your project."

What does this mean? What is monolithic format and "Total Recall Option"? I see that this is the result of the most recent update...
