Banks not loading Directwave

I'm trying to consolidate the articulations of each of my instruments into a single, easy to use package, where each articulation is on its own color channel in piano roll. (4 channels per articulation)

Whenever I save the whole combo as a bank, I can't seem to be able to just drag the .dwb file in and have it load into the channels window like I can with any other plugin. Instead it loads a sampler. So I have to manually add directwave and load the bank manually. Not terrible, but it defeats the purpose of the browser.
