My VSL Opus 1 orchestral library comes in GIGA and EXS formats. They are not identical. The GIGA samples for some articulations include release samples that are triggered upon note release for a much more realistic release for things like tremelo strings which otherwise just do a quick fade. EXS format does not support release control.
Does DW support release samples and does it properly map release samples that are already included in GIGA samples?
