I was doing an experiment for velocity scaling with instruments created within Direct Wave when I came across this.
Based on this text from the help file:
For example: samplename_C4+KA3-F#4+V64-95+TG1+TY3+TF100+TO15.wav sets root key = C4, key range = A3 to F#4, velocity range = 64 to 95, trigger group = #1, trigger type = avoid previous, trigger frequency = 100%, trigger overlap = 15%.
I re-named the samples from my velocity post
http://forum.image-line.com/viewtopic.p ... 0&t=164757
So they would be mapped to the single key and at the desired velocities; in example: PatchOn_C4+KC4-C4+V0-31.wav
I left off those 'trigger' attributes, not knowing what they are...
However, when I drag the re-named samples into DW, they are mapped across the entire key range with the assigned velocity ignored, as shown in this video.
I confirmed this in the latest build 31 and FLS 12.2.3, and the stand alone/VSTi DW.
Edit: I did make the named key range larger than a single note, but no change to resulting range.
