Hello, I am using Direct Wave to create a violin synthesizer. I am trying to attach different velocities to different string sounds, thus low velocity to to a plucking sound, and high velocity to a vibrato loud sound. I have no midi keyboard. I do have a midi rotary controller though. I wanted to control the instrument's velocity through my rotary controller, so that I can alternate between plucking and vibrato at the turn of a dial. However, I cannot figure out how to link velocity speed to my controller. I'd rather not have to manually alter each note with my mouse.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
