loading a bigger gig file in Direct Wave crashes FLStudio

I try to load a .gig file of 939 MB (free Yamaha grand piano) into Direct Wave. I get a message that FLStudio may crash as there is not enough memory available. And it does...


I have 8 gig of RAM ( win 7 64bit machine ) and as good as nothing running apart from the latest FLStudio9 producer version, with nothing loaded in it.
I tried the extended memory version of FLS but to no avail.
I did read that the Direct Wave player is included in FLV but not DW itself, yet on the player's page the tech specs state that the Zone and Sample tabs are disabled which in my version they are not. So I conclude that it must be DW, and not DWPlayer.


Is there anything I can do about this?
