this is a fl template and fpc kit at same time...just install template.
Here it is the greatest template ever! Its much better than the one Akai provided, this template is for FL Studio. Just copy the folder here:
C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio 8\Data\Projects\Templates
go all the way into the folder and look for the two note layout files (akaimpd32bankab) copy these and paste them here:
C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio 8\Plugins\Fruity\Generators\FPC\Data
then choose these notes layouts from the fpc dropdown. load each into its corresponding channel.
now set your MPD32 to preset 19 and go about changing the sync to external, transport buttons to to MMC blah blah blah...
Load template and WALLAH!
here is how it works: I mapped 2 FPC instances from C 3 to D#8 and linked them to a layer channel. Use the layer channel when recording that way you can have 4 banks instead of the FPCs 2 banks, and now you can switch between all 4 with out having to click another instance of FPC, just hit bank A,B,C, or D on the 32. preset 19 on the mpd32 is already set to this note range.
On akaiMPD32BankA+B channel, I loaded some drums in bank A for you to test, the rest of the banks are empty just load your own sounds.
Did not bother to link knobs and sliders, everyone has a different work flow.
Tell me if you like it.
