Syncing Akai MPD26 to FPC

The mpd26 is recognized by FL 9 but when I want to use it through FPC, the pads do not correspond with the ones with my MPD26. How can this be rectify?

Example when i choose the default FPC only three pads on my MPD26 work but is a different pad on the FPC pad EX: if I hit Pad 12 on my MPD on the FPC is pad 14
