Latest visualizer DLL (version 1)

Download here:

(unzip in <your FL Studio path>\Plugins\Fruity\Effects\ZGameEditor Visualizer)
Note that this zip only contains the DLL, for presets and effect files go here.

Update March 17, 2015 (build 1,0,0,72)
- Bugfixes and improvements. Video export to resolutions larger than desktop resolution works correctly.

Update Dec 1, 2014 (build 1,0,0,65)
- Bugfixes
- Video export now supports 4k resolution (and higher)

NOTE: this version requires FL12. It might work with FL11 if you have the FL12 beta installed on the same computer but it is not tested. Also you need to download the effects again because they have been modified to work with this version.

Update Aug 21, 2014 (build 1,0,0,64)
- You can now have a separate video source for foreground and background
- Video source can be automated
- Bugfix: incorrect sized window in large fonts mode

Update Apr 29, 2014 (build 1,0,0,63)
- "stop" and "play" can now be in the list of video cues so you can control video playback
- Bugfix: Opening a project could hang if wallpaper-mode was set
- Bugfix: Graphics were not animated in wallpaper mode if plugin window was hidden
- Video sync position should work in both 32-bit and 64-bit now

- All non-default parameter values for all effects are now saved in FLP-files. Previously only the parameters of the current selected effect were saved.
- Bitmaps and meshes: You can now select "(none)" to go back to the default content.
- Bitmaps and meshes: The numeric index value control is replaced with a dropdown list that shows the filenames instead.
- Bitmaps: When custom bitmaps are added that have width/height larger than 1024 pixels they are scaled down with high quality algorithm to improve performance and avoid filling GPU memory. Previously they were scaled with low resolution and lower quality.
- Wallpaper mode is back and is now controlled with a new window setting (see image below): Attached, Detached or Wallpaper. Previously the wallpaper mode was automatic when plugin was hidden and that caused problems.
- Vertical scrollbar appears when parameters do not fit in window.
- Linked with the latest ZGE sources.

- Fixed problem with dark visuals after using wormholeeclipse effect.

Update February 27, 2013 (build 1,0,0,53)
- Removed "hide to wallpaper" mode because it crashed on some computers.
- Fixed crash while render to video.
- Cosmetic: About box is displayed without stopping main visuals + Detached window is no longer yellow while switching view.

NOTE: This update requires the latest FL-Studio Beta (10.9.0) or later.
- Fixed problem with effect lists behaving weirdly in large fonts mode (extra scrollbars and failure to respond to clicks)
- Detached window stores size and position in current project
- "?" button that jumps to the forum thread for the currently selected effect
- Antialias mode now use 8x multisample where available(4x previously)
- "Spectral bands" now defaults to 256
- Custom bitmaps and meshes (see image):
--- Separate index per effect category, these settings are also saved in project. So you can choose different bitmaps and meshes for foreground and background.
--- The index values can be controlled with automation. This means you can now add a bunch of bitmaps and create a slideshow.
- Built with latest updates to the ZGE engine
- Random effects are selected when adding the plugin in a new project instead of just black screen

- Switched back to the old trackbar control for parameters. It shows a red dot when the parameter value changed from default and also does not draw ugly focus rectangles. Fixed a couple of problems related to when values are non-default.

- Improved timings when generating video clips that use scene switches combined with parameter automation.
- Automatically add ".wmv" to generated video clips
- Fixed assertion error when using side-chaining

Updates:

- Side chaining support. You can pick a separate audio input for every effect category. This means you can do things like make the foreground effect react to the kick and the background to the lead.
- Frame rate selector and indicator. You will now always see the current frame rate and be able to select a desired rate up to 60. Previously the frame rate was not very exact and would fluctuate between 15 and 30. Of course the actual rate you get is dependent on the complexity of the chosen effects and the power of your computer + GPU.
- You can turn off individual effect categories by clicking on the checkbox next to the category name.
- You can pause all animation by clicking "Paused". This is useful during effect development because If an effect triggers an error this checkbox will be selected automatically and you can try fixing the problem.
- Effect names are now displayed in a list instead of a dropdown.
- Effects can now work directly with the audio-data. This allows for oscillator effects.
- Effect data for bands and audio can be transmitted to GLSL shaders. This should allow for much more complex effects and we are looking for GLSL-developers that can help out with that. If you know anyone who is interested in GLSL/WebGL and audio reactive coding then please direct their attention to this thread.
