I'm trying to setup Motif XS together with FL Studio and I'm encountering few problems in here.
My setup:
- Yamaha Motif XS6
- Audigy Platinum Ex
- Audio out from Motif via SPDIF to Audigy SPDIF in
- Yamaha Motif connected via USB.
A) Can't get Motif XS6 to sync to external midi clock generated by FL
In here I've enabled Midi Master Sync and checked Send Master Sync in midi properties.
B) Can't figure out, what is the correct way to copy arpeggiators from Motif to FL
When I'm putting Motif to ARP -> PC mode and disabling FL MIDI output, I can get some notes to the Piano Roll but they seem incorrect and out of sync.
I'd figure someone had done something similar when recording arps from workstations to sequencer for further processing.
