Computer not reading disks

I bought EWQL platinum plus edition, and what i thought were defective CD's were actually just not being read by my computer.
Last night, disk 7 wasnt being read. So i had to stop the library installation because of it.
This morning i wake up, and disk 7 now works. But another doesnt. It seems like my computer seems to decide when to read and not to read CD's..
What can i do to have them be read? or any other ways to install the library?
im pretty sure i can copy and paste the full library from Disk 1 right?
