Having trouble connecting the Behringer X-touch universal mixer in fl studio 12

I just recently purchased the Behringer X-Touch universal mixer for a more hands on mixing experience in FL Studio 12.
When I plug it in via USB to my computer I then load up for studio. From there I go to midi settings and change the controller to Mackie universal on both x-touch and midi out x-touch. Then I put the ports on 102 and I get nothing out of my mixer. It will not turn on any lights but the faders do react when I move them. If I move the faders they just reset back to the bottom.
PLEASE HELP!!!! I really want to use this mixer!!!!
