Quick Question

So I've recently invested in a new controller for the purpose of better live control. But I'm also using it during production as well. My question is; is it possible to route multiple parameters in a VST to a single knob/channel on a midi controller? The reason I ask this is because I'm very into FM synthesis, solely for the purpose of 100% of control of the sounds. I'm wanting to route multiple modulation percentages to one knob and do a quick midi recording instead of meticulously automating each of them. It's a convenience that I could really use, which would save me lots of time.

So if anyone could please point me in the right direction? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
