Fl Studio 10.9 performance with machine mikro mk2

Hey guys, I've been trying to set my maschine mikro up with fl studio in performance mode for a while now, but there are no tutorials on the subject. I don't really know much about midi, but the maschine mikro template in the midi settings isn't launching the clips the way I want it to ; instead, it's playing a the sound of whatever sound I had selected last in the step sequencer. I also saw a maschine mikro template for fl studio in the Hardwarespecific folder, but this only works for the maschine mikro mk1. Any suggestions on how I might be able to set up my maschine to launch clips in performance mode?
