Novation Launchpad S [PLEASE HELP!!!!]

I'm not really expecting anyone to respond to this since I've posted numerous times before and no one ever see's it or reply's....but here we go anyways since I don't know where else to go to ask....

I recently got a launchpad and I understand how to....

A) Make light shows

B) Do an entire routine with any track/samples/etc.

but....

C) How do I trigger a specific light pattern when I hit a specific pad on the Launchpad? and How Do I change the color of the pad that I hit as well? I also want there to be no lights on unless I'm hitting a pad and that pad is triggering a lightshow pattern of some kind.


I would GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY FEEDBACK AT ALL...please enlighten me if you know how to do this, because I've spent hours trying to figure it out!
