Can't lock Midi Controller (Keystation 88es) to channel

Hopefully the problem here is just that I am a fool.

I am not able to lock my midi controller to a channel. I can play a selected channel just fine but I want to be able to secure the proper channel to my midi controller. This should be fairly easy as indicated in the FL12 manual.

However, the option "Recieve notes from" simply isn't there on any channel I try.



Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
