I have the FL Studio and an Korg Electribe MX.
I want to try and connect the two and this is where all my questions arise.
I presume I do this through MIDI.
Is there any where I can find a complete beginners guide?
Also I am working on a laptop HP Envy which has no MIDI port that I can tell. The midi cable I have do have has on one end two round pins coloured red and white and on the other end similar to usb plug on the other. Have I even got the right cable? and can I record from the Electribe if laptop has no MIDI port?
I am completely green at this and forgive me if this post seems dumb but I really want to make some music with these products and I broke a load of my teeth so I am going to have many weekends staying in until all repairs are done
