Actually, I'm sure its' all to do with me being the fool, but here is my issue that I'm desperate for some help with:
I just picked up a used MicroKorg XL+ (For $300!) and I love it! I'm using FL Studio 10 and have it all setup for MIDI in and out. I can use the Korg as a controller and with a few adjustments am able to also have FL Studio record/play sequences back out to the Korg. This is all using the MicroKorg plugin within FL Studio as my "instrument" in the sequencer. Awesome!
The issue is that when I go to record a sequence, it appears in the step sequence, and all is well. However, when I go to play it back, the sound is TOTALLY different and has this WEIRD acceleration sound. When I go back to the Korg and play (to double check what the hell is going on), I get the same crazy acceleration sound! The only way to turn this off is to click to another preset on the Korg and then back, and then it works again just fine...until I try and record into FL again...it comes right back to that weird acceleration issue.
I have used FL Studio plenty in the past, so I don't think it's a computer issue, just something with the two playing nicely together. I have 8 GB of RAM, i5 processor, etc. so it shouldn't be an issue with that. I'm using ASIO4ALL and have an Alesis iO2 as my audio interface. I have my MIDI channels set to match at 13 as that seems to be the default for the Korg. In the MIDI settings I set the port to match whatever number I go with in the MicroKorg plugin--it seems as long as those two match, it will work just fine.
So in short, I'm not sure what's causing this weird acceleration, nor how to go about fixing it.
Please help!
